Arrowroot Powder

Starchy white powder made from the stems of a tropical tuber. The roots are dried and ground into a fine white powder, which is used as a thickening agent. It becomes flavorless, odorless and clear when cooked. It should be mixed with a cold liquid before heated or added to hot mixtures. Use as you would corn starch, only use less, as arrowroot powder is stronger.
